OSINT tip. Run the same image through several engines — Google and Bing tend to surface similar product / landmark matches, but Yandex is famous in the OSINT community for finding faces and matching against unique scene compositions where the others miss. TinEyeis the only one that consistently returns the earliest known appearance of an exact image, so it's the right call when you're chasing provenance. For anything originating in mainland China, Baidu sees pages the Western engines don't index.
URL mode just builds a search link — nothing is sent to us. File mode copies the image to your clipboard locally and opens the engine's upload page in a new tab. Once you upload there, that engine sees your image; nothing else does.

About Reverse Image Search

Find where else an image appears online — drop a file or paste an image URL and launch the search in Google Lens, Yandex, TinEye, Bing Visual Search or Baidu in one click. URL mode opens each engine with the image URL pre-filled. File mode copies the image to your clipboard and opens the engine's upload page so you just Ctrl+V into the drop zone. Each engine has a 'best for' note (Yandex for faces, TinEye for provenance, Baidu for Chinese-language sources) so you know which one to reach for.
