What this does. First, walks the EXIF metadata for GPS coordinates — most phone cameras embed exactly where each photo was taken (unless the user or the platform stripped it). If GPS is present, that's a 100%-confident exact location. If not, you can optionally ask the AI vision model to guess from visual clues like signs, architecture, vegetation and sky, with an honest confidence score. Everything runs in your browser except the AI guess itself.

Image stays in your browser for the EXIF read. AI guess sends ONE request with the image to our server, never stored, only forwarded to Claude vision.

About Image Location Finder

Find where a photo was taken. First: read the EXIF GPS data your phone embedded when the picture was taken — exact coordinates, 100% confidence, plotted on an interactive map. Second: if GPS is missing or stripped, ask Claude vision to guess from visual clues (signs, architecture, vegetation, sky) with an honest confidence score and the reasoning behind it. OSINT-style geolocation that runs almost entirely in your browser.
