About Random Name Picker

Fair student selection for the classroom — type or paste a roster (one name per line), hit pick, watch the name cycle through and settle on the chosen one. Two modes: 'no repeats until everyone is picked' (the fair mode every teacher actually wants — once you've drawn the whole class, the round resets) or 'allow repeats' (each pick is independent). Picked names are tracked in a recent-history strip so you can see who's been called. Roster + history save locally so the same class list is there next period. Optional: remove a picked name from the roster on the spot. No signup, no ads, no spinner-wheel gimmicks — just the picker.

Like every tool on Buncha, this one runs entirely in your browser. There's no upload, no log, no record of what you've pasted or generated. Close the tab and the data is gone.
